Low Iron Glass

Low Iron Glass (also known as Starphire or Superclear glass) has a higher degree of transparency and clarity than normal clear glass. By reducing the amount of iron content in the glass during manufacturing, we are able to minimize the greenish-blue tint that is seen in normal clear glass.

Because of this property, Low Iron Glass is ideal for applications such as Splashbacks to ensure accurate colour reproduction onto glass. Shower Screens, Tabletops & Shelving can also be made using Low Iron Glass which gives the glass superior clarity and can be more attractive.
